This challenging circular hiking route will take you through the stunning landscape surrounding Batteria d'artiglieria.

Starting off at the trailhead, you will pass by a convenient drinking water station just 0.13 kilometers into your adventure. As you continue along the trail, you'll reach a cave entrance around the 3.96 kilometer mark, offering a unique opportunity to explore a natural wonder.

Around the halfway point, at 2.26 kilometers, another drinking water station will be available for refilling your bottles. The path will then lead you to Rifugio Gruppo Stella Cometa, an alpine hut located 3.68 kilometers into the hike, providing a great spot to rest and enjoy some nourishment while taking in the surrounding views.

Throughout the journey, you will encounter several viewpoints offering breathtaking panoramas of the area. Keep an eye out for Monte Singìo and Monte Cengìo peaks, each around the 3.96 and 3.62 kilometer marks respectively.

As you near the end of the hike, approximately 4.01 kilometers into the journey, you'll come across Osservatorio d'artiglieria, a historic artillery observation point worth exploring.

With a total distance of 8.335 kilometers and an elevation gain of 522 meters, this hike is rated as difficult, requiring a good level of fitness. Remember to bring plenty of water, snacks, and appropriate hiking gear. It's also advisable to check the weather forecast before setting out on this adventure to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
