This hiking trail takes you through the beautiful Hochgern area, offering stunning views and a moderate challenge. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 3.143 kilometers and an elevation gain of 478 meters, so be prepared for some uphill sections.

As you start your hike, you'll pass by the Hochgern parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. About 0.68 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across the Windeck viewpoint, providing a perfect spot to take in the surrounding scenery.

Further along the trail, at around 1.57 kilometers, you'll encounter the Madonna peak, although it's slightly off the main trail. The Drei Sennerinnen peak, another highlight of the hike, is located at the same distance and is directly on the trail. Don't miss the chance to rest and enjoy the views at the benches located at various points along the route.
