This challenging 4.579-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the picturesque area around Schnappenberg. With an elevation gain of 565 meters, this hike offers stunning views and a rewarding workout.

Starting at Hochgern parking, you'll begin your journey with a gentle warm-up before reaching the Windeck viewpoint at 0.68 kilometers. Here, you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue onwards, you'll pass by the Madonna peak at 1.72 kilometers, offering a great spot to rest and enjoy the scenery.

Midway through the hike, at 2.23 kilometers, you'll come across a historic wayside cross and some benches where you can take a break. The Drei Sennerinnen peak at 1.57 kilometers offers another opportunity to soak in the beauty of the area.

Throughout the hike, you'll find various benches and facilities where you can rest and refuel. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, as well as wear sturdy hiking shoes for the rocky terrain. Check the weather forecast before heading out, as conditions can change quickly in the mountains.

At the end of the hike, you'll return to the starting point at Hochgern parking, completing a challenging and rewarding trek through the Schnappenberg area.
