Starting at the parking area, you'll begin your journey with a gradual ascent. Along the way, you'll pass by several water sources, perfect for refilling your water bottle or taking a refreshing break. These water features are located at various points along the trail, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

As you continue on, you'll come across the ruins of Burgruine Forstenberg, a historic castle that dates back centuries. This is a great spot to pause and imagine the stories of the past.

Further along the trail, you'll find informational signs providing insight into the area's history and natural features. Be sure to stop and read these to enhance your hiking experience.

For those in need of a rest, benches are conveniently placed along the trail, offering a comfortable place to sit and take in the scenery. Additionally, there is a natural spring nearby where you can replenish your water supply.

Please keep in mind that there is a rocky area off the trail, located 0.46 kilometers from the start, so be cautious if you venture off the main path.

With 100 meters of elevation gain, this trail offers a moderate challenge, suitable for hikers of all skill levels. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
