This hiking route will take you through the beautiful alpine landscape to the Heinrich-Hueter-Hütte. The trail is 8.372 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 807.0 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 57 minutes to complete.

Starting off at the trailhead, you will pass by the Gasthaus Schattenlagant, a restaurant where you can grab a meal before your adventure. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across the Saulajoch, a saddle offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains. This is a great spot to take a break and soak in the scenery.

Further along the trail, you will reach the Heinrich-Hueter-Hütte, an alpine hut where you can rest and refuel before making your way back. This is the turnaround point of the out-and-back route, so be sure to enjoy your time at the hut before heading back towards the trailhead.
