As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area at the beginning of the trail. Around 3.21 kilometers into the hike, you will find a shelter where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. Keep an eye out for water sources along the way, approximately 0.04 kilometers and 0.0 kilometers from the start.

As you continue on the trail, you will encounter several points of interest. At approximately 0.99 kilometers from the start, you will be greeted by the majestic Kleiner Zschirnstein peak and a viewpoint offering breathtaking scenery. Further along the trail, around 3.21 kilometers in, you will reach the Großer Zschirnstein peak and a climbing spot known as Winkelblock.

Throughout the hike, you will find benches and picnic sites dispersed along the trail, perfect for taking breaks and enjoying the surroundings. It is recommended to pack enough water, snacks, and wear appropriate hiking gear. Additionally, checking the weather forecast before embarking on the journey is advised.

The route encompasses various viewpoints, information points, and historical landmarks, providing an enriching hiking experience. After completing the hike, you can relax at the Zschirnsteinbaude Pension & Gasthaus restaurant located at the trailhead.
