This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Bärfeld in a 6.4-kilometer out-and-back trail. With an elevation gain of 262 meters, the hike is rated as moderate in difficulty, offering a good challenge for hikers of all levels.

Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Weissach loipe parking area at the beginning of the hike. Around the 2-kilometer mark, you will reach the Alpengasthof Hochkogl, a great pit stop for hikers to grab a meal or snacks. This alpine guesthouse also offers parking facilities, making it a convenient stop for those driving to the trailhead.

As you venture further along the trail, you will reach the Hochkogel viewpoint and peak, providing stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. This makes for a perfect spot to take a break, admire the scenery, and capture some memorable photos.
