Welcome to the hiking trail to Monte Fratta! This route offers a 4.7-kilometer out-and-back adventure with an elevation gain of 170 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The total duration of the hike is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Starting at the parking area at the trailhead, you'll set off on a scenic journey through the picturesque landscape. As you begin your hike, you'll pass by Bar Ristorante La Betulla, where you can grab a bite to eat before continuing on your trek. Around 0.18 kilometers from the start, you'll come across an information point providing details about the area.

Along the trail, you'll encounter several points of interest such as a wayside shrine known as Santella di confine and a picnic site named Le Acque. These spots offer great opportunities to take a break, have a picnic, and soak in the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, there is a shelter located 0.14 kilometers from the start where you can rest and enjoy the views.

Continuing on, at around 1.22 kilometers from the start, you'll find a BBQ area to enjoy a meal amidst nature. Further ahead, at approximately 2.33 kilometers from the start, you'll come across a memorial site, followed by a cave entrance known as Buco del latte di Cascina La Prada at 1.18 kilometers from the start.

As you approach the turnaround point at Monte Fratta, which is 2.35 kilometers from the start, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views from the peak. For those looking to extend their hike, Monte Rotondo offers an additional challenge with its peak located 0.77 kilometers from the start.
