This hiking route is located in the Kamplasegg area and offers a challenging adventure for hikers. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 8.35 kilometers and an elevation gain of 552 meters, making it a difficult hike that will require some physical effort.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail, where you can leave your vehicle before starting the hike. From there, you will follow the trail as it winds through the beautiful landscape of Kamplasegg.
Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest. At around 1.09 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench where you can take a short rest and enjoy the surroundings. Continuing on, at 1.4 kilometers from the start, there is an information point that provides insight into the area's history and natural features.
As you approach the 2.52-kilometer mark, you will come across more information points and another bench for hikers to relax. It is important to note that at this point, there is a bench located off the trail, so be sure to keep an eye out for it.
Further along the trail, at 3.12 kilometers from the start, there is another information point to explore before reaching the peak of Kamplasegg at 4.18 kilometers. The peak offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area and is a great spot to take a break and capture some photos.
After enjoying the peak, you will retrace your steps back along the trail, passing by the points of interest once again. It is advisable to bring an ample water supply, as well as snacks and proper hiking gear. Additionally, checking the weather forecast before embarking on this hike is recommended to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
