Welcome to the hiking route to Le Stauffen!

This moderate 5.218-kilometer out-and-back trail offers a wonderful opportunity for hikers to explore the beautiful wilderness of the area. With an elevation gain of 253 meters, hikers can expect a moderate challenge that rewards with stunning views along the way.

Starting at the parking area, you'll begin your journey on the well-marked trail. After approximately 1.53 kilometers, you'll come across the Refuge du Stauffen, a wilderness hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Continuing on, at around 2.6 kilometers from the start, you'll reach a peak known as Le Stauffen. This spot offers panoramic views of the area, making it a perfect place to stop and take in the scenery.

Throughout the hike, you'll also encounter several picnic sites where you can rest and refuel. It's important to bring an ample water supply and some snacks to keep you energized during the hike.

As you make your way back, consider stopping at the springs located approximately 1.64 kilometers from the start to cool off and freshen up.
