Welcome to the hiking trail at Schanzenbuckel! This route offers a easy, relaxing hike through the beautiful natural scenery of the area.

As you start your hike, you will come across a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to leave your car and begin your adventure. Along the way, you will also find a couple of water sources, perfect for refilling your water bottle and staying hydrated.

About halfway through the hike, you will encounter the Gasthaus Zum Schützenhaus restaurant. This is a nice place to take a break, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy the surroundings before continuing on your journey.

As you make your way back, you will come across the Treidlerweg information point, where you can learn more about the history and nature of the area.

This out-and-back trail has a total distance of 4.134 kilometers and features no significant elevation gain, making it perfect for hikers of all skill levels. Don't forget to bring plenty of water, some snacks, and check the weather forecast before setting out on your hike.
