Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the first point of interest, the Pfitschlacke - Lago di Vizze, located 5 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This picturesque lake is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the tranquil surroundings.

As you continue on, you will pass by the Mittlere Kuhalm ruins, adding a historical touch to your journey. Further ahead, at the 3.21-kilometer mark, you will reach the Taufenscharte - Giogo di Quaira saddle, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Midway through the hike, you will find the Leiteralm restaurant, where you can refuel and rest before continuing on. Make sure to carry an ample supply of water and snacks, as the trail is long and challenging.

Towards the end of the route, at 5.68 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Schutzhütte Oberkaseralm alpine hut. This is the perfect spot to relax and take in the breathtaking scenery before turning back.
