This extremely difficult hiking route takes you to the stunning Piz Duleda in the beautiful area of Forcella della Roa. The trail covers a distance of 15.794 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1324.0 meters, so be prepared for a challenging trek.
You will start your journey at Sass Rigais parking where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this adventure. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest.
Early on, at 0.24 kilometers from the start, you will find a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy a meal amidst nature. Further along, at 0.54 kilometers from the start, another picnic site awaits you, offering a peaceful spot to rest.
At 1.48 kilometers, you will encounter the Zanser Schwaige restaurant, a perfect place to replenish your energy with some local cuisine. Additionally, benches are available at different points along the trail for you to sit and take in the breathtaking views.
As you continue your hike, you will reach viewpoints at 3.7 kilometers and 5.34 kilometers from the start, allowing you to appreciate the natural beauty of the surroundings. Information points are also available along the route to provide you with insights into the area's history and wildlife.
The highlight of the hike is reaching the summit of Piz Duleda at 7.9 kilometers from the start. Take in the panoramic views from the peak before starting your journey back.
