The trail starts at the Urenkopf Vulkan parking area, where you can leave your vehicle and begin your adventure. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across various points of interest.

About 0.83 kilometers into the hike, you'll find the Rotweinbänkle picnic site, perfect for taking a break and enjoying a snack. Further along, at the 1.12-kilometer mark, you'll encounter the Bannstein information point and the historic boundary stone at the same location.

As you continue your journey, at around 1.77 kilometers, you'll reach the Steinmatt information point, followed by the Über Ried information point at 1.9 kilometers. These spots provide valuable insights into the history and nature of the area.

At 2.47 kilometers, you'll reach a viewpoint with a bench, offering a great place to rest and take in the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, at 1.71 kilometers, there is a picturesque picnic site called "an der Steinmatt" where you can enjoy a meal amidst nature.
