This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Monte Salena. The trail is 3.308 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 299 meters, making it a moderate level hike. The estimated duration for this hike is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
As you start your journey, you will pass by the Ex Monastero Casa San Vito, a historic monastery located just 0.04 kilometers from the starting point of the trail. Midway through the hike, at approximately 1.65 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Monte Salena, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, you can explore the Buco del Capriolo cave entrance, located 0.94 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.
