This hike takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and historic landmarks. The total distance of the route is 8.911 kilometers with an elevation gain of 644 meters, making it a challenging but rewarding trek.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll come across the iconic Torre Scaligera, a must-see attraction just 73 meters from the trail. As you continue on, you'll pass by the Madonnina wayside shrine located 0.76 kilometers from the start.

Around the halfway point, at 2.77 kilometers into the hike, you'll find the Baita Monte Lisser restaurant where you can take a break and refuel. Further along the trail at 2.66 kilometers and 3.35 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter refreshing water sources to quench your thirst.

As you make your way back, be sure to stop by the Pozza del Tombal for a serene water break just 2.06 kilometers from the start. Additionally, there are several drinking water stations along the trail to fill up your bottles.

For convenience, there are parking areas at the trailhead and at 0.37 kilometers from the start. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find informational points like Casara del Tombal and Trattoria Lao restaurant. Make sure to check the weather forecast before setting out and bring enough water for the duration of the hike.
