This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Overstrand Local Municipality. The Black Route is a super easy trail with a total distance of 1.451 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across Mogg's Country Cookhouse, a park located right at the beginning of the trail. You can fuel up here before embarking on your hike. Along the way, you will find multiple water sources to stay hydrated, with the closest one being 0.51 kilometers from the start.

Further into the hike, at around 0.63 kilometers from the start, you will find another water source to refill your bottles. Keep following the trail, and at 0.73 kilometers, you will reach a water point that is directly on the trail.

Additionally, there is a restaurant, Moggs Country Cookhouse, located right at the start of the trail, where you can grab a meal or snack before or after your hike.
