This extremely difficult 15.509-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Kolob Basin Overlook. The trail starts at a parking area with no fee and continues through challenging terrain with a total elevation gain of 1243 meters.
As you begin your journey, you'll pass by Peak 7924, a natural peak located 4.28 kilometers from the start. The trail then winds its way to Round Peak, another natural peak situated 2.08 kilometers from the beginning.
Around the midway point of the hike, you'll come across Spring Creek, a natural spring located off the trail. Be sure to bring plenty of water, as this refreshing stop is perfect for refilling your bottles.
As you venture closer to the Kolob Basin Overlook, you'll encounter a shelter at 0.0 kilometers from the start, offering a brief respite before the final stretch. The overlook itself is located 7.75 kilometers from the start and provides breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area.
