The Reckweg hiking route is a super easy out-and-back trail that spans approximately 1.944 kilometers with no elevation gain. The trail is located in a picturesque area with various points of interest along the way.

Starting at the trailhead, hikers will come across several parking areas within the first kilometer, making it convenient for visitors to park their vehicles. As you continue on the trail, you'll find a bicycle parking area about halfway through the hike. Further along the route, there are two water sources where hikers can refill their bottles.

Near the midpoint of the trail, there is a floating artwork called "Schwimmende Balkenplastik" and the Felsenau-Brunnen fountain. Information points such as the Seftausteg can also be found along the trail to provide insights into the area's history and surroundings.

As you approach the end of the trail, there are multiple benches and picnic sites where you can take a break and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Additionally, there is a BBQ area and a shelter for hikers to use if needed.

It is recommended to bring an adequate supply of water, especially on hot days, and to check the weather forecast before heading out. The trail is suitable for hikers of all levels due to its short distance and minimal elevation gain.
