Welcome to the hiking route to Piton Misère!

Located in a beautiful area with stunning views, this extremely difficult 16.5-kilometer trail will challenge even the most experienced hikers. With an elevation gain of 979 meters, be prepared for a strenuous but rewarding adventure.

As you start your journey, you'll pass by several parking areas for your convenience. Approximately 5 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across shelters and picnic sites where you can take a break and enjoy a meal. Make sure to refill your water supply at the nearby water source around the 6.2-kilometer mark.

Continuing on, you'll encounter the picturesque Lac Piton de l'Armagasse at around the 6.2-kilometer point. The trail will then lead you to various peaks such as Piton Doré, Piton des Herbes Blanches, and Piton Misère, each offering unique panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

As you reach the end of the trail, Piton Misère stands as a testament to your determination and perseverance. Take in the breathtaking vistas before heading back on the out-and-back route.
