The Red Tarns Track is a moderate out-and-back hiking route that spans 3.696 kilometers with an elevation gain of 312 meters. The trail is located in a picturesque area with stunning views of the surrounding natural beauty.

As you begin your journey, you will come across a shelter just 0.03 kilometers from the start, providing a place to rest and take in the peaceful surroundings. Continuing along the trail, you will pass by a parking area at the very beginning, perfect for those arriving by car.

Around the 1.83 kilometer mark, you will find a water source, great for refilling your water bottles and staying hydrated during your hike. A bench at 1.85 kilometers offers a spot to sit and enjoy a snack while taking in the scenic views.

Although not directly on the trail, a waterfall can be found at 0.98 kilometers from the start, worth a short detour for a breathtaking natural spectacle. If you're in need of a meal or refreshments, the Chamois Bar & Grill restaurant is located 0.09 kilometers from the trail.

At 1.85 kilometers into the hike, a viewpoint presents itself, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you near the end of the trail, another bench at 0.53 kilometers provides a final resting spot before heading back.
