This hike will take you through the beautiful area of Cegin Viaduct, Bishop's Mill Road, and Bangor. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 3.098 kilometers and an elevation gain of 142 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will pass by various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking options such as University Parking, Minafon, and Kyffin Square. Further along the trail, you will come across Castle Hill and Glanrafon parking.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the stunning Bangor Mountain, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Make sure to stop by the Waterloo Inn, Fat Cat Café Bar, and The Albion for a quick bite to eat or refreshments.
As you approach the endpoint of the trail, you will pass by The Castle pub and Blue Sky Café. You can also visit China Hot Chilli restaurant or Royal Tandoori for a delicious meal before heading back.
