This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Great Crag. The trail is 4.87 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 334 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
As you start your hike, you will come across The Langstrath Inn, a pub located right at the beginning of the trail. It's a great spot to grab a quick bite or drink before you start your adventure. Further along the trail, at 1.44 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter a captivating waterfall, adding a tranquil atmosphere to your journey.
At around 2.44 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Great Crag peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. It's a perfect spot to take a break and appreciate the natural beauty around you.
On the way back, you can stop by Peathouse Tea & Coffee Shop, located conveniently at the end of the trail, to relax and unwind after your hike.
