This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Mont Joigny, offering stunning views and a moderate level of difficulty. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 6.765 kilometers and an elevation gain of 408 meters.
You will start your journey at the parking area, located at the beginning of the trail. As you hike, you will pass by the Col du Granier, a picturesque saddle just 0.08 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take in the panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Further along the trail, at approximately 0.49 kilometers from the start, you will come across "Sur le Frêne," an information point where you can learn more about the area. Continuing on, at 2.25 kilometers from the start, you will reach another information point called "Devant Joigny," providing additional insights into the surroundings.
At the midway point of the hike, around 3.01 kilometers from the start, you will encounter two significant landmarks. The first is Mont Joigny, a peak offering spectacular views of the area. The second is a historic wayside cross, adding a cultural element to your hike.
As you make your way back towards the starting point, be sure to stop by the viewpoint at 0.45 kilometers from the end, where you can admire the scenery one last time.
