Spodnji Plot

This hiking route is in a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail covers a distance of 5.322 kilometers with an elevation gain of 545 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 2 hours and 35 minutes to complete.

Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by a parking area just 0.04 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, around 2.31 kilometers into the hike, you will come across the "Planinski dom na Zelenici" alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

Further along the trail, at about 1.31 kilometers from the start, you will find the "Koča Vrtača" alpine hut. This is a great spot to rest and refuel before continuing on your journey. As you trek towards the endpoint, you will also encounter the "Spodnji Plot" peak at 2.66 kilometers from the start, offering breathtaking panoramic views.

It is recommended to bring plenty of water, wear appropriate hiking gear, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging hike. Keep in mind the distance to each point of interest along the trail and pace yourself accordingly.
