This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Opferkessel, offering stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The total distance of the hike is approximately 1.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 151 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Gasthaus "Zum Pfaffenstein" restaurant just 0.03 kilometers from the start, where you can grab a bite to eat before embarking on your journey. As you continue on the trail, you will pass by the Terrassenhof restaurant, offering you a chance to rest and refuel.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Aussichtsturm viewpoint and the Ehemaliges Vereinshaus des Bergschützenbundes ruins, perfect spots to take in the surrounding landscape and capture some memorable photos.

Further along the trail, you will reach various peaks and climbing sites such as Pfaffenstein, Bilch, and Bundesfels, providing opportunities for adventure seekers to explore the rocky terrain and enjoy the thrill of climbing.

Before reaching the destination of Opferkessel, you will also pass by the Goldschmidthöhle cave entrance, the Teufelskessel viewpoint, and the Opferkessel water feature, each offering unique experiences along the way.
