This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Arco de São Jorge in Madeira, Portugal. The trail is 6.222 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 382 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail. Further along, you will pass by the viewpoint Miradouro Beira da Quinta, where you can take in stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Along the way, you will also find the information point "Welcome to Arco de São Jorge" to learn more about the area.

About halfway through the hike, you will find a drinking water fountain at Fontanário to refill your water bottle and stay hydrated. Near the end of the trail, you can stop by Cabanas São Jorge Vilage, a local bar, for a refreshing drink or snack.

The highlight of the hike is the viewpoint at volta’s where you can enjoy panoramic views of the area. This viewpoint is located 3.11 kilometers from the start of the trail, making it a perfect spot to rest and take in the scenery before heading back.
