This extremely difficult 13.7 km out-and-back hiking route will take you through the stunning area of Puy Gris. With an elevation gain of 1785 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint of heart. Make sure to pack plenty of water and snacks, and check the weather forecast before you go.
Your journey will begin at Parking du Gleysin, where you can leave your vehicle before setting off on the trail. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across several points of interest. About 3.7 km into the hike, you'll reach Refuges de l'Oule (Antoine Cros), an alpine hut where you can take a rest and admire the beautiful surroundings.
Further along the trail, at around 4.6 km, you'll discover Combe Grasse, a lovely spot to take in the views. As you continue your ascent, you'll also pass by L'Oule and a drinking water source, ensuring you stay hydrated throughout the hike.
