This challenging hiking route will take you on a 9.554-kilometer circular journey to the breathtaking Cimone di Cortechiuso in a picturesque area. The trail starts at a parking area, so make sure to bring enough water and supplies for the hike. Along the way, you will encounter several points of interest.

At the beginning of the trail, you will come across a wayside shrine, adding a touch of historic significance to your hike. As you continue, approximately 0.16 kilometers from the start, you'll find a drinking water source to refill your water bottle.

Around 3.51 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Bivacco Cortechiuso wilderness hut, offering a cozy spot to rest and take in the stunning surroundings. Further ahead, at the 4.6-kilometer mark, you'll reach the majestic peak of Cimone di Cortechiuso, providing panoramic views as a rewarding endpoint.

During your journey, you will also encounter a water source, additional drinking water points, and informative signs along the trail. As the trail is considered difficult with an elevation gain of 864.0 meters, it is important to be prepared and physically fit for this adventure.
