This hiking route takes you through the scenic area of Birular, offering stunning views and challenging terrain. The total distance of the route is 8.978 kilometers with an elevation gain of 533 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 24 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Ormolako putzua water source, located at around 3.99 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. It's advisable to refill your water bottle here before continuing on. Along the way, you'll also find parking areas for your convenience, the first one being right at the trailhead. Make sure to check if there are any parking fees or restrictions in place.

About 0.23 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the PR-GI 42 information point, providing insights and details about the area and the trail itself. This can be a great opportunity to take a quick break and learn more about the surroundings.

At a distance of 4.49 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Birular peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. This can be a great spot to take some memorable photos and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

As you continue on, you'll come across the Luzaide restaurant at the 0.08 kilometer mark, providing a possible stop for a meal or snack. It's always a good idea to refuel and recharge during long hikes.

Towards the end of the hike, at around 2.39 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Belaitz peak. While not directly on the trail, it's worth considering a detour to visit this peak for additional scenic views if time and energy permit.
