Starting at the trailhead, you will first encounter the Col du Corps de Garde, a natural saddle located just 37 meters from the beginning of the trail. As you continue along the path, about 1.8 kilometers in, you will come across historic ruins, adding a touch of intrigue to your hike.

For convenience, there is a parking area close to the trail, making it easy to access the starting point. The peak of Caume Ouest will be your final destination, situated 1.9 kilometers from the starting point, offering panoramic views as a rewarding conclusion to your journey.
