This hiking route takes you through a stunning area with peaks and natural landmarks. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting and ending at the Bergstation.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by the Daxensteinbaude, a restaurant open from May to October, located only 17 meters from the trail. The first point of interest you will encounter is the Hauptwiesenstein, a peak with climbing opportunities just 1.01 kilometers into the hike. Moving forward, at 0.75 kilometers from the start, you will come across the Adlerstein, another climbing peak along the trail.
As you continue, you will find several other peaks and climbing spots such as Bär, Glasergrundwarte, and Glatter Keule. The trail also passes by the Bennohöhle cave entrance at 0.27 kilometers into the hike.
Throughout the route, you will encounter various benches and information points, providing resting spots and insights into the area. Keep an eye out for the Ernst Thälmann historic memorial at 0.05 kilometers from the start.
