Located in the High Oxen Fell Road area, this super easy hiking route offers a pleasant 1.3 kilometers (0.81 miles) stroll with a total elevation gain of 33 meters (108 feet).

Starting at the trailhead, hikers will come across a parking area located right at the beginning of the route, making it convenient for those arriving by car. As you continue along the trail, you'll pass by several natural water sources, providing a serene atmosphere and a chance to refill your water bottle if needed.

About midway through the hike, you'll find an information point where you can learn more about the flora, fauna, and history of the area. A viewpoint not far from the trail offers stunning panoramic views, perfect for a photo opportunity and a moment of appreciation for the surrounding landscape.

Although there is a waterfall located off the trail, it's not directly accessible from the route. However, its presence adds to the beauty of the area.

As this is an out-and-back trail, you'll retrace your steps to return to the starting point. Before embarking on this hike, make sure to bring enough water, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
