Welcome to the Opavská cesta hiking route!

Opavská cesta is a challenging 7.51-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 246 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It will take you approximately 2 hours and 21 minutes to complete this scenic trail.

As you start your hike, you will come across "Prameny Opavice," natural springs located just 0.03 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to refill your water bottle and take in the peaceful surroundings. Further along the trail at 1.89 kilometers, you will find "Nad Horním Údolím," an information point where you can learn more about the area.

Continuing on, at around 2.2 kilometers, you will pass by a historic wayside shrine. Take a moment to appreciate the cultural significance of this site. As you approach the 2.7-kilometer mark, you will encounter another information point named "Pod Koberštejnem," providing insights into the local attractions.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 3.76 kilometers, you will reach the stunning "Zámecký vrch" peak. Although not directly on the trail, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making it a perfect spot for a rest and some photos.

Towards the end of the trail, at 3.76 kilometers, you will discover the ruins of "Koberštejn," a historic site rich in history and culture. Take some time to explore and imagine the stories of the past.
