This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Sa Casiéra, Col Toron, and the World War I military positions. The route is an out-and-back type, starting at the parking area located at the beginning of the trail. The total distance of the hike is approximately 1.6 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 172 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will pass by the Agriturismo Malga Laste alpine hut, located at 0.72 kilometers from the start, where you can take a break and enjoy the mountain views. Further along the trail, at around 0.77 kilometers, you will reach the Sa Casiéra viewpoint, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Continuing on, at 0.81 kilometers from the start, you will come across El Cristo wayside cross and a drinking water point where you can refill your water bottles. Nearby, there is also a bench for resting and taking in the beautiful scenery.

As you reach the midpoint of the trail, at 0.81 kilometers, you will encounter the Còl de mesdì saddle, offering a perfect spot to take a rest and admire the natural beauty of the area.

On the way back, you can stop at the Vista su Pelmo e Civetta viewpoint, located at 0.61 kilometers from the start, to capture some amazing photos of the Pelmo and Civetta mountains in the distance. Additionally, you can explore the Postazioni della Grande Guerra, which are historical military positions from World War I.
