This hiking route takes you through the beautiful alpine landscape of Creste del Megón. The trail is 5.376 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 684 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is an out-and-back route, with the destination being the peak of Megón / I Migógn.
Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will pass by the Chiesetta alpina, a historic wayside shrine. Further along, you will find Rifugio Migon, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views.
As you continue your ascent, you will reach viewpoints such as Tabié dal Lóf and Creste del Megón, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area. Pian de le ceste, an information point, is located midway through the trail, providing insights into the local flora and fauna.
It is important to bring an adequate supply of water, especially on hot days, as there are limited water sources along the trail. Additionally, be prepared for changing weather conditions in the mountains, so make sure to check the forecast before embarking on your hike.
