This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Route Forestière in Saint-Denis. The trail is 11.106 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 680 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the forecast before embarking on this adventure.

Starting at the parking area, located just 0.0 kilometers from the trailhead, you will begin your journey. Along the way, you will encounter several water sources, some of which are closer to the start like the one at 1.27 kilometers, and others further away like the one at 0.11 kilometers from the start. Remember to refill your water bottles whenever you can to stay hydrated throughout the hike.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across a picnic site at 0.13 kilometers, perfect for taking a break and enjoying a snack while surrounded by nature. Further along, at 2.69 kilometers from the start, you will reach Piton Batard, a picturesque peak offering stunning views of the surroundings.

The trail then leads you to Piton Grande Chaloupe at 4.71 kilometers from the start, another peak where you can take in the breathtaking scenery. Finally, at 5.55 kilometers from the start, you will reach a scenic viewpoint that offers panoramic views of the area.
