The hiking route GR 11 - nueva variante is a circular trail that covers a distance of 7.874 kilometers with an elevation gain of 574 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete.

The trail starts at a picturesque area with stunning alpine views. Along the way, hikers will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find Refugio Casa de Piedra, a cozy alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further into the hike, you will pass by Embalse de Bachimaña Bajo, a beautiful lake perfect for a rest stop.

As you continue on the trail, you will encounter several water points to refill your water bottles and enjoy the serene sounds of nature. Midway through the hike, you will reach Cascada del Fraile, a spectacular waterfall that offers a refreshing sight and a perfect spot for a snack break.

Throughout the trail, there are various viewpoints such as Mirador del Balneario and Mirador del Pino, where you can take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to check out the Cascada and enjoy the tranquility it offers.
