Welcome to the Pico de Las Mormoleras hiking route!
Located in a stunning mountainous area, this extremely difficult 9.968 km out-and-back trail offers breathtaking views and a challenging trek for experienced hikers. The route features an elevation gain of 1384 meters and will take approximately 5 hours and 46 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Refugio Casa de Piedra, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the picturesque surroundings. Further along the trail, you will encounter the Fuente de La Laguna, a fountain, perfect for refilling your water bottles.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Collado Pondiellos, a saddle with remarkable views, followed by the Punda Alta de Pondiellos, a peak offering panoramic vistas of the area. As you continue onwards, you will pass by Punda dera Nevera and Pico de Las Mormoleras, two more peaks that provide stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
