This hike will take you to the stunning Lago di Braies, a beautiful lake surrounded by the picturesque Dolomite mountains. The trail is an out-and-back route with a total distance of 2.259 kilometers and an elevation gain of 35 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before hitting the trail. About 0.12 kilometers into the hike, you will find a bar where you can grab a snack or a drink before continuing on your way. Along the trail, there are benches where you can take a rest and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Midway through the hike, at around 1.13 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint overlooking Lago di Braies. This is a perfect spot to take in the breathtaking views and capture some memorable photos. As you make your way back, you will pass by information points and more benches where you can relax and take a break.

It's always a good idea to bring plenty of water, especially on warmer days, and to check the weather forecast before heading out on the trail. With its relatively short distance and minimal elevation gain, this hike to Lago di Braies is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Dolomites.
