This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area leading to Planičca peak. The trail is 12.826 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 888 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers. The duration of the hike is approximately 5 hours and 11 minutes.

As you start your journey, you will come across a historical wayside shrine called Kapelica, located just 0.02 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along the trail, at a distance of 2.17 kilometers, you will reach a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.

At the halfway point, 5.65 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a saddle known for its natural beauty. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the scenery. Continuing on, at 6.41 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the peak of Planičca, which provides exceptional views of the surrounding landscape.

Throughout the hike, you will also pass by notable landmarks such as the Hram pri Aljažu pub and the Spomenik Jakobu Aljažu memorial. Additionally, there are several viewpoints along the way where you can pause to take in the stunning vistas.

It is important to note that this is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
