This hiking route takes you through the beautiful mountainous area of Il Poggiale. The trail is 8.916 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 550 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 26 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across the memorial at 2.48 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along at just 0.03 kilometers from the start, you will find the Capanno Tassoni alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments. Around 1.48 kilometers in, there is a drinking water station, perfect for refilling your water bottles.

Midway through the hike, at 2.5 kilometers from the start, you will reach Passo di Croce Arcana, a lovely natural saddle where you can take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

As you continue on, at 4.04 kilometers from the start, you will come across the peak of Le Piagge, offering panoramic views of the landscape. Towards the end of the trail, at 4.46 kilometers from the beginning, you will reach another peak called Il Poggiale, which marks the turnaround point of this out-and-back route.
