Located in a beautiful natural area, this circular route spans 3.531 kilometers with an elevation gain of 34 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels. The estimated duration of the hike is around 54 minutes, but you may want to take your time to enjoy the surroundings.
As you start your journey, you will pass by some interesting points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will come across the Gänsesee, a picturesque water feature just 0.33 kilometers from the start. Further along the path, at 1.76 kilometers, you'll find another water feature before reaching a restaurant called Landgasthof zum Schwarzen Adler. This is a great spot to take a break and refuel before continuing your hike.
For history enthusiasts, there are two memorials along the way: the Kriegerdenkmal located 0.11 kilometers from the start and the Denkmal zur Zerstörung 1945 positioned midway through the route. These landmarks provide a glimpse into the area's past and add a cultural element to your hike.
To make your hiking experience more comfortable, there are benches strategically placed along the trail, including one at the beginning and another at various points along the way. Additionally, there is a wheelchair-accessible parking area at the trailhead for your convenience.
