This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Monte Coppa / Kopa. The trail is 13.127 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 743.0 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will take around 4 hours and 53 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will pass by Gostilna Mojmir, a restaurant located just 0.12 kilometers from the trailhead, where you can grab a bite to eat before embarking on your adventure. Further along the trail at 2.71 kilometers, you will come across Planinski dom Tromeja, an alpine hut where you can rest and take in the stunning views of the surrounding area.
Continuing on, at 3.72 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Bivacco Senza Confini, a shelter where you can seek refuge and shelter if needed. Along the way, you will also encounter various information points, drinking water sources, and a spring to replenish your supplies.
At the midway point of the hike, approximately 6.56 kilometers in, you will reach the peak of Monte Coppa / Kopa, where you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the landscape below. As you make your way back, you can stop by the monument located at 4.91 kilometers from the start of the trail to learn more about the history of the area.
