This challenging 8.575-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning mountainous terrain near Refuge de l'Écondu. The hike has an elevation gain of 311 meters and is estimated to take approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete.

Starting at the designated parking area, you will begin your journey towards Lac de Saint-Guérin, located 0.6 kilometers from the trailhead. This picturesque lake offers a serene setting for a brief stop before continuing on your hike.

As you move along the trail, you will come across La Laie, an information point 3.54 kilometers from the start, providing valuable insights into the surrounding natural beauty. Further along, at the 1.01-kilometer mark, you will encounter Passerelle de Saint-Guérin, a scenic footbridge offering breathtaking views of the landscape.

Midway through the hike, at the 4.24-kilometer mark, you will reach Refuge de l'Écondu, an alpine hut where you can take a rest and enjoy a well-deserved break. Nearby, you will also find the informative L'Esteray and Sous l'Écondu points of interest.
