This hiking route takes you on a challenging journey to the majestic Großbergspitze peak. The trail spans a distance of 15.744 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1472 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will test your endurance and strength.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll pass by the Mittlerer Seewisee and then the Unterer Seewisee, two beautiful lakes that provide a serene setting for a rest stop early on in your hike. Further along the trail, at a distance of 3.45 kilometers from the start, you'll come across the Memminger Hütte, an alpine hut where you can refuel and recharge before continuing your ascent.
As you make your way towards the peak, you'll encounter the Seescharte saddle at the 5.3-kilometer mark, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Continuing on, you'll pass by several peaks including the Seeschartenspitze, Seeschartenkopf, Edelrautenspitze, and finally reaching the Großbergspitze at 7.87 kilometers from the start.
