This hiking route takes you through the scenic area surrounding 白鳥濠 (Shirotori moat) in Tokyo. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 2.034 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it an easy and beginner-friendly hike.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning of the hike, you will find 第二駐車場 (Second Parking Lot) which is conveniently located close to the trailhead. Further along the way, you will encounter landmarks such as 乾門 (Dry Gate), 天神濠 (Tenjin moat), and 平川濠 (Hirakawa moat).
Midway through the hike, you will have the opportunity to explore historic sites such as 旧近衛師団司令部 (Former Imperial Guard Division Headquarters) and 天守台 (Tenshukaku, or Castle Keep).
Towards the end of the trail, you will pass by several benches and informational points like 梅林坂 (Umebayashi) and 千代田区町名由来板 北の丸公園 (Chiyoda Ward Information Board on the Origin of Marunouchi Park).
