This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Carbunisc. With a distance of approximately 9.4 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1142 meters, this difficult trail offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for hikers.

Starting off, you can visit the Bar Gelateria Aurora just 0.06 kilometers from the beginning of the trail for a quick refreshment. As you continue, you will come across the Ristorante Toscano Da Dino at 0.02 kilometers from the trailhead, offering a dining option nearby.

As you make your way along the trail, you'll pass by the Colma di Vercio at 3.47 kilometers from the start, providing a picturesque saddle to rest and take in the surrounding views. Further along, at 1.98 kilometers from the beginning, you'll find a drinking water station to refill your supply.

Midway through the hike, at 4.69 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter both Sassarut and Carbunisc peaks, offering stunning views of the landscape. Additionally, the Cima Mergozzoni peak at 4.01 kilometers from the beginning provides another opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of the area.

On the way back, you can stop by the picnic site at 1.95 kilometers from the start for a leisurely break before completing the trail.
