This extremely difficult 22-kilometer circular hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Strada Statale 685 delle Tre Valli Umbre. The trail has a total elevation gain of 992 meters and is estimated to take around 7 hours and 34 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you'll come across the Colle Caidino peak at a distance of 0.51 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to take in panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Along the way, there are several water sources located at varying distances from the trail, so make sure to stay hydrated. You'll also find a drinking water station just 0.02 kilometers into the hike for your convenience.
About 10 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach an alpine hut where you can take a break and refuel before continuing on. This is located about 3.57 kilometers off the trail.
It's important to note that there are multiple water sources both on and off the trail, so be sure to fill up your water bottles whenever you get the chance.
