This extremely difficult out-and-back hike will take you to the stunning Faja de las Olas in the picturesque area. The trail covers a distance of 19.813 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1951 meters, so prepare yourself for a challenging adventure.
As you begin your hike, you will come across some convenient parking areas within the first few kilometers. Along the way, at around 5.9 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Collado de Anisclo, offering a beautiful natural saddle viewpoint. Continuing on, at 9.7 kilometers, you will find the peak of Punda deras Solas, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings.
Around midway through the hike, at 4.69 kilometers from the start, there is a refreshing spring called Punta del Valle, perfect for replenishing your water supply. For the more adventurous hikers, at 7.84 kilometers, you will encounter the Cadena via ferrata, adding a thrilling element to your journey.
As you near the end of the trail, at 9.91 kilometers, you will reach the peak with outstanding views at Punta del Valle. Just a short distance away, at 9.86 kilometers, you will find the Collata de las Olas o de los Maquis, another impressive natural saddle.
