This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route takes you to the stunning Faja de las Olas in a remote area with breathtaking views. The trail covers a distance of 19.813 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1951 meters, so be prepared for a challenging but rewarding adventure.
As you start your journey, you'll come across a parking area at the beginning of the trail, where you can leave your vehicle before setting off. Along the way, you'll encounter various points of interest such as Collado de Anisclo, a scenic saddle located 5.9 kilometers from the start, and Punta del Valle, a majestic peak 6.19 kilometers into the hike.
Further along the trail, at around 9.7 kilometers, you'll find Punda deras Solas, another impressive peak to admire. As you continue, you'll pass by a spring at 4.69 kilometers, providing a refreshing stop to replenish your water supply.
For those seeking an extra thrill, there's a via ferrata called Cadena at 7.84 kilometers, offering a unique climbing experience. Additionally, there are information points scattered throughout the trail to provide insights into the surrounding natural beauty.
